These terms cover subscriptions entered into with adult consumers. Atlas is intended to be offered in several countries, subject to local commercial, tax and regulatory availability.

Subscriptions are monthly. Other plans may be offered in future; only the features displayed at the time of the order apply to the subscription contract.
The stated quota covers all data counted towards the user’s account, including contributions. Media generally accounts for the vast majority of this volume.
The measurement method, rounding, the exact behaviour when the quota is exceeded and the rules for changing plans will be presented in the interface before an order is placed.
Atlas provides for a one-off 7-day trial, with no payment card required at the outset. There is currently no permanent free plan.
At the end of the trial, if no subscription is taken out, the account switches to read-only access for 7 days. At the end of that period, the account is locked and the content scheduled for deletion is purged from the active service. Warnings are sent before the deadlines.
Users returning after having already used the trial do not automatically receive another trial.
A payment card is requested when a user chooses to subscribe after the trial. The subscription is taken out for one month and renews automatically for successive monthly periods until cancelled.
Before payment, the interface must summarise the plan, the applicable price, any taxes, the renewal date, these terms and, where relevant, the request for the service to begin immediately.
Users may cancel their subscription to prevent the next renewal. Ordinary cancellation does not end a period that has already been paid for: full access remains available until that period expires, unless there is a separate ground for suspension or a legal right requiring otherwise.
At the end of the paid period, if there is no renewal or new subscription, the account receives a 21-day grace period with read-only access. As soon as those 21 days expire, the relevant content is immediately purged from the active service, with no additional delay. Reminders are sent before deletion.
For distance contracts entered into with a consumer, where this right applies, the statutory period is 14 days from the conclusion of the contract. The Withdrawal page explains the planned process.
Withdrawal is distinct from ordinary cancellation. It does not trigger the 21-day commercial grace period: normal access is stopped and Atlas provides for a content retrieval mode for a reasonable period communicated to the user.
Where consumers expressly request that the service begin before the withdrawal period ends, any financial consequences are those permitted by law and set out in the information provided before the order; no arbitrary flat withdrawal fee is charged.
When an account reaches the end of the deletion lifecycle, Atlas removes that user’s own content and contributions from the active service, including where they appeared in a shared space. Other participants’ own contributions are not deleted.
Participants are encouraged to download anything they wish to keep before the deadline. Atlas cannot delete a copy already downloaded by an authorised recipient. Deletion from the active service does not mean that all administrative data, transaction records or technical backups subject to a separate statutory or operational retention period are erased instantly.
Consumers retain all mandatory statutory guarantees applicable to digital services. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived.
If a problem arises, users should first contact [email protected] so that the issue can be diagnosed and, where required by law, the service brought into conformity.
After contacting Atlas, if the response is unsatisfactory, consumers may refer their dispute to CM2C for consumer mediation free of charge.
Mandatory consumer law provisions applicable in the consumer’s place of residence remain unaffected. No choice of law or jurisdiction deprives consumers of any mandatory protection to which they are entitled.
