How to exercise the right of withdrawal applicable to an Atlas subscription entered into at a distance.

Where applicable, consumers have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to exercise their right of withdrawal without giving a reason.
Immediate access to the service
At checkout, Atlas plans to ask consumers separately whether they wish the service to begin immediately, before the withdrawal period expires. This request will not be pre-ticked.
If consumers withdraw after requesting that the service begin immediately, any financial consequences are limited to those permitted by law and explained before the order.
Exercising the right of withdrawal
Before any sales take place, Atlas must provide a clearly identified withdrawal function in its interface, directly and easily accessible throughout the statutory period. It must allow users to submit their declaration online and receive an acknowledgement on a durable medium.

Effects on the account and data
Withdrawal is not treated as ordinary cancellation: the 21-day commercial grace period does not apply. Normal access to the service is stopped and the account moves to a retrieval/export process.
Atlas then communicates a reasonable period for users to retrieve the content to which they are entitled, before deleting it from the active service in accordance with the announced process and applicable legal obligations. Withdrawal does not create a new free trial if the user registers again.
